Rocky Mountain Teen Challenge was one of the projects Life Builders Ministries worked with on organizational development. The time spent with the Board and the three Center Directors enriched my life and gave me a perspective of the power of God in changing lives. Ken Summers, the new Executive Director and his Assistant were installed to oversee the Rocky Mountain Region during this project. To anyone needing a transformation from a life controlling addition I recommend Rocky Mountain Teen Challenge at one of the three centers ministering to men, women, and mothers with small children.

Being an Executive Presbyter with the Rocky Mountain District Council of the Assemblies of God provides numerous ongoing opportunities of ministry and coaching. Working with different churches in Leadership Training, Time/Personal Management, and Board/Executive Evaluation provided insight and the establishment of many styles of policies and procedures. The ministers were encouraged and mentored to succeed in their chosen callings. One minister I mentored for his Ordination, had the highest exam score known to this date. Conflict resolution work and dealing with ministry failures kept me involved in the difficult areas of the ministry. One of the beautiful experiences was working with Pastor Rigo Magana at New Hope Christian Fellowship as they began a new chapter in the life of the church. I love the Hispanic people and felt honored to be a part of the team and work with the young pastors and Masters Commission as they grew to a new level. Pastor Amos with Urban Flow, ministers to 500 disenfranchised youth a week — these kids are not the “norm” many are involved with gangs and have a totally different life style and yet they are coming to the Lord because of the birth of a vision.

In April, I was elected Vice President of the Colorado Association of Parliamentarians. This took me to my first National Association of Parliamentarians Convention in Omaha, Nebraska. I was also privileged to work on the Public Education Committee and bring Nancy Sylvester to Colorado for an excellent work shop. In July, I was in Indianapolis to serve as Parliamentarian for the General Council of the Assemblies of God at their Bi-Annual Meeting. It was my first experience using electronic voting - what a great invention! I also served as Parliamentarian chairman for the Rocky Mountain District Council along with serving as parliamentarian for many of the churches at their annual meetings. In December, I taught four &mash; two hour classes on parliamentary law. I am also working with Charter Schools in “Leading a Meeting”.

The greatest joy of my life has been the time that I was able to spend with Glennis, my wife. Her knowledge in the financial services discipline through equities/investments, asset protection, wealth management, tax strategy, retirement planning, life/health insurance, and alternative investments has added a new dimension to Life Builders Ministries Seminars in finance segment. "Your Financial Future Depends on Your Choices Today." We both are enjoying where God has us! We believe that there are five areas to life, spiritual, physical, educational, financial and social…Balance in these areas is our goal.
